I am petite, 5’ tall, 105 lbs and the xs fit perfectly.At 71 years old, the less sun exposure, the better so I purchased a cute long sleeved rash guard with built in bra to go with the shorts.

I always love Hurley shorts! I thought these were board shorts but they actually have a full coverage bottom sewn in! They are a very comfy stretchy poly/spandex material and have a wide waist band that is high rise. The only reason I gave four stars is because they don’t fit me super well. I usually wear a 10/12 and got a size large as that is what I normally wear in a swimsuit bottom. The waist fits fine but the short just doesn’t fit my body shape especially well. Not a problem with the actual item though, as I have problems sometimes with that. These could easily be worn just around the house with a tee shirt. I will probably cut out the attached bottom and wear as board shorts over my swimsuits. The short also has a pocket on each side that will very comfortably and securely hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The material quality is top notch as is expected from Hurley, and I expect these to last quite a long time! Since they are a typical swimsuit material, they should dry quickly as well!

Very slimming. The material is thin with a slight higher rise.

I am usually a medium and went with the size recommendation, but they ended up being too big for me. There is not a way to tighten the waist so if you're looking for a tighter fight and between small and medium then go with a small. I could still wear these as a loose fit with a bathing suit underneath but it wasn't what I was going for.
