Worked for my v400. Last hot end lasted almost 2 years. Hope this one lasts that long too. Shipping was quick.

You can't reassemble the print head properly because the thermistor is proud. Someone else said they trimmed the part to fit. I tried pressing the hot end hard enough to force the connection to bend out of the way, but I stopped after the wires started to show through. If the thermistor needs to be trimmed to fit, tell us that (and how far). The heater seems fine. I'm sure all the components are great, if they fit.This wasted a fair amount of my time.Edit: Also the 1st heater failed after about a week's time. Its cable is about 3 inches too long, so maybe that slack caused it to kink and fail. Double disappointment.

My original hot end basically destroyed itself when the temp sensor failed and hot pla fused solid in the original hot end. Unfortunately I snapped the nozzle off while trying to remove it during the cleanup.This replacement hot end came with the heater rod, temp sensor, a new 0.4mm nozzle and copper feed tube pre-installed in the heater block. I did have to trim the shielding around the thermistor a bit so it would bend tightly enough to fit in the greater assembly. Once trimmed, I reassembled everything, recalibrated , and was back in action. Cool. I thought about 4 stars since I did have to trim the thermistor, but that was a minor operation. I am very happy to be back running well again.

The thermistor / temp sensor is not the right type. It is similar to Creality hot end, just a small bulb. The V400's temp sensor is a cylinder the fits into the opening of the hot end block. I can't use it. Maybe I was sent the wrong part. Everything else looked great. But still worthless.I ordered this back in September as a spare part and am just now using it.

Needed a few spares on hand for when any of mine go bad. I tested both the thermistor and heating cartridges and they worked as expected. Had zero issues. I didn't even have to change my Marlin firmware for the thermistor. Did a PID tune and everything heated up and worked as usual. Heats up super fast too being a 60W heating cartridge. I also did a test fit on my new volcano hot end and you'll need to cut some of the black heatshrink off the thermistor to make to fit properly but other than that issue it will work for a volcano hotend too.
