This simple music box has been integral to the well-being of a family member who is incapacitated. Straightforward to load a micro-SD with hours of music, and the controls are simplified for easy use by someone with cognitive impairment. Glad I purchased this item.

My 85 year old mom is in a Senior Care facility and needless to say she has a hard time operating any electronic gadgets nowadays. She has been telling me that it would be nice if she could listen to some music in her room (not just the radio but a collections of songs she knows and love). I look for quite a while for a device that was VERY simple to operate, I could add the songs myself, the quality of the sound was adequate, etc.I finally came across this music box and this is exactly what I was looking for. After receiving the player, I assembled about 200 songs on my laptop that I knew my mom would like and easily transferred the songs to the microSD card (included). Since I am in a different province, I shipped the music box to my mom with the SD card already installed and when she received it, she simply needed to plug it in a wall power outlet and press the huge ON/OFF button on top. There is also a small wheel on the side to adjust the volume so only two things to remember (ON/OFF button and volume). The sound quality is adequate for her large room and she loves it.

This music box does the trick for my elderly mother. Sound and volume is decent and the box itself is simple with large buttons. It even came in her favourite colour, orange! After a little research, I found a way to convert Sp0tify songs to MP3 format and download to my laptop. Once on the laptop, it's a quick and simple process to copy to the TF card that's included with the music box. So far I have copied about 8 hrs of music for her. Happy with the purchase!

A family member with Alzheimer's had stopped listening to music because the stereo became too complicated to operate. I made a playlist of "Jump Jive and Wail" songs from the 40's & 50's. When she listened to the music she started singing along remembering most of the verses from every song and that really elevated her mood. Recently she moved into assisted living. I got an MP3 player and speaker so she could listen there. Then realized how complicated it would be for her to operate and troubleshoot. I found this player online and bought it. I transferred the playlist to it. Now when she wants to listen to music it is as easy as off and on. If she forgets which way the toggle goes, just press it and the music turns off or on. She listens all the time. This was a great purchase because it delivers, just one step to turn it on or off. BTW, the sounds is very good. There is a dial on the side for the volume but she doesn't adjust the volume.

We bought this for my mother in law who lives alone and has limited vision. We use it for audiobooks. She enjoys the classics so we have downloaded the free-public domain books which seem to come in mp3 form for every chapter. Putting them in the songs folder and renaming the chapters 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3 etc and they play continuously and in order. When a book ends at ie. 29.mp3, the next book picks up right away at 30.mp3. The volume is great and the device is easy to use. The 32GB card is huge for what she needs (there are usually 7-10 books on her unit and they don't even use 1GB). The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the buttons are hard to see. We used masking tape and black marker to label on/off, volume, and fwd/rev. Being visually impaired she couldn't read them. For our situation, it is a great purchase.
