Does not fit. Might fit mk6 jetta or gti but not golf r.

Look 10/10Fitment 6/10Over all 8/10Look clean installed but from a far... Close up you can tell the pass side sits in the bumper to much and drivers side sticks out but cheap and just a place holder till i paint match my oem ones..

This item does not fit an 09 gti. the body style changed in 2010 so an 09 is still a mk5 that being said they do look good and are a high quality product the description led me to believe VW may have changed the front bumper or just the side marker housing for my 09 considering it is the variant I have to look for mk6 parts for my motor and mk5 body
