I got this to make rice after a friend recommended.It is perfect!! It holds the steam well and cooks with rice perfectly. It is a good thick pan that keeps the heat so well. I love it. It has been great to make my chicken biryani

Makes excellent soups/stews. Not sure why the lid knob seems plastic, but it is removable so you can still put the lid in the oven.
