This Incraftables Sewing Thread Assortment (24 Threads Set) has a nice selection of colors. It has 22 colors total with two each of black and white. It's a great mix of colors and will help out for any of those emergency sewing situations that come up. There should be something that's close enough to work no matter what color you need. The thread feels fairly good quality and doesn't get nits at all like some polyester thread I've run across. It comes with two needle threaders - always great to have spares. It comes with some needles in a nice little case. The needles are really big though. You definitely wouldn't want to use them on any kind of fine or delicate fabric or anything that gets holes easily. They are easily as thick as my leather needles, but not as sharp. I'd use these more for making tapestries than regular sewing.

This thread set has a nice selection of colors. The feel of the thread is comparable to major brands.My only issue is that the amount of thread per spool is only 120 yards/360 feet. Most major brand spools are at least twice that amount. For machine sewing, by the time you wind a bobbin you will have used almost half the spool. That doesn't leave much thread for sewing. The kit does contain two of each color, so you could continue on sewing with the second spool. But that means threading the machine again and that takes time.For hand sewing or quilting, I think this set is really quite nice. If you mostly machine sew small items, it also would be great to use. But for a larger project, you would be better off with a spool with much more thread.

I like to keep a few of these on hand for mending those more uniquely colored clothing items. This a good assortment, and there is plenty of thread on each spool (you could easily spin up a bobbin from this and still have plenty to sew with). I like that there are some neon colors. I have a boy, so don't sew a lot of pink things, and there are a lot of pinks, so I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it. The needles and needle threaders are a nice touch, but I will probably use my own needles and threader or my machine. The thread itself is average quality (not as nice as Coats and Clark, but not as delicate as some other budget brands I've purchased).

There is an ample amount of thread provided for each color, including two spools of white and two of black, the most used colors. That being said, there is no true red or dark blue and many of the colors would not typically go with anything you might ever need to repair (see photo). Although the large eye needles provided are metal and appear well made, they are not appropriate for the gauge of these threads and are not manufactured for sewing with lightweight fabrics. The needles would be better used for heavier gauge threads or even yarn. The real value of this set comes from the large amount of thread on each spool for the colors that you will use.
