Ok, The part is just for replacing the rubber button . It is not a electronic replacement. You will have to remove the old rubber protector. I used a razor blade in a window paint scraper and it worked perfectly. I then Gorilla glued that sucker in place. If your not good with electronics or familiar with auto body or auto electronics , then this is not the job for you. I would buy the parts here and then pay a professional to do the job for you. It can be a all day job if you don't know how to remove the door handle or the inner parts of pretty much the whole inner workings of the door. There is a couple of half descent videos on Youtube to look at before you try to do this job. This is the best price for the parts if you can find them. I trust that Amazon will refund my money , every time if the part doesn't fit without charge.

2017 Kia Sportage SX, drivers side rubber button cover went a missing. Door still worked fine when finger pressed into the hole. Install on this wasn’t super simple, but after about 5 minutes of squeezing, placing, pushing, it popped into place. I did not remove the handle, just shoved it into the hole. Since it has a flange it’s unlikely to depart the vehicle ever again. It’s a bit softer than the original when pressing but not a big deal.

Fit perfectly and installed rather easily on a 2018 Kia Sportage.

This product saved me over $350.00!My regular auto repair wound not touch it and the dealer said “replace the door handle”. My electric door system worked fine as I could reach through the hole and lock/unlock. Gently placed product through the hole and received a huge savings by not having to replace the entire door handle.
