This foot switch will last a long time. I've been in heavy industry for well over 40 years, and this part is good enough for any application I've seen in that time. You'll have to get your own fittings, but I don't mind that. Unless you're building a new machine, you probably have fittings already. Good to know that such things are readily available, and for peanuts.

This is a basic pedal for pneumatic control of something like a clamp, where it actuates when you press downwards with your foot. I was honestly a bit surprised at how decent this is for the cost. It's solidly made out of metal, and it pivots easily with a strong return spring action. Your air lines hook up at the back of the pedal, and the exhaust ports are under the pedal deck so they won't be blowing things around. There are even little tabs that can be used to screw the pedal down to the floor or other surface.I'm not sure how you'd make this better for the low price. Mine did not include instructions, but if you are replacing this or fabricating part of a pneumatic mechanism, you probably already know how it works and how to connect it.Great item for the price, recommended.
