I bought this switch to remotely control it using the web GUI, and tried to change its ip from the default, 192.168.50.110, to match my LAN. But it wouldn't change. So its basically no use to me, and as a foreign customer, returning it isn't really an option. Waste of money afaic.And, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, the serial port doesn't work either. Yes, I tried reversing tx and rx connections.Examining the config page html shows a simple syntax error, but even if a fix were available, there's no way to upload it, as the serial port doesn't work either.

This product works great as a 4x4 matrix so far, no issues. However, I was excited to be able to change what is displayed using the web GUI. I can access the web gui if I put my computer on the same IP range of the device. I can set the basic settings to a new IP address, it says it saves, but it doesn't. The Firmware page in the web GUI says it isn't implemented, so to use the RS232 for updates, but no files or a location to get the files for updated firmware. I hooked it up using a USB to DB9 RS232 Cable, as indicated in the enclosed manual, and it acts the same as if the COM port isn't even plugged in. I attempted to contact the seller for support. Nope, nothing, crickets. I even contacted using a card that came with the device that included the email address for support, nothing there either. Knocking off 1 star for incorrect product description, knocking off 1 star for incorrect user manual, knocking off 1 star for no support.

This switch is great for switching different inputs to different screens using the remote. It's super easy to use and does just what is says with the exception of the web GUI. I couldn't get the web part to work. It might be possible but I couldn't figure it out. If you are just looking for the 4x4 features through the remote it will work well.

Absolutely amazing 4x4 HDMI switch that works straight out of the box.It's features are so flexible - I love the little remote control that comes with it.I can select any of 4 HDMI inputs to go to any of 4 HDMI screens with no limitations.Another great thing is that the HDMI audio is also routed to the 3.5mm output.Phenomenal HDMI Multi Screen Controller.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

I have way too many computers and monitors, and needed a way to connect them all. I'm spoiled by some really expensive A/V matrixes at work, and can't afford the same stuff at home, so I took a gamble on this 4x4 4K HDMI matrix.Out of the box, everything works as it should. Controlling the inputs and outputs from the front of the unit is easy and effective, but I was intrigued by the "web gui" offered in both the marketing material, and the manual. I was hoping to log into it so I could manually set some EDIDs, but I simply cannot connect to the web gui. I tried the IP address in the manual, but no luck. (and as background info, I have decades of experience with networking, so I'm confident I had my computer configured correctly to access the matrix on the intended network address).I reached out to the customer service via email, and have not heard back at all.Bottom line, the value is great. A 4x4 4K matrix at this price is impressive. I just wish I could fully use the features listed.
