works for my smart tv i n my Rv -- no problems, and actually using less power than my 12 tv it replaced. Not much but some as with the old 12 TV I had to us FireStick which took power, but with the new Smart TV the wireless feature and the TV have a single power source and it uses just a tad less. When plugged into shore power, none of that matters. This unit was a bit more expense because it is a sine Wave type with a cleaner power input -- and, so I am told, that is better for the electronics in the TV. So far I like this unit, it is compact size.

Well designed, compact, light, sturdy and quality. Works vey quiet. I have connected it to my Dell 130w laptop charger, there was no humming noise or electromagnetic interference. It requires 15-16Amp on full 130w load. Tested with 2 parallel 18Ah lead batteries. First battery brand failed after 2 minutes. Then replaced them with another brand and they worked vey well maybe 55 minutes (each battery) at 15A measured current.

I bought one of these a year ago from my travel trailer. It was quiet and ran the occasional AC item without trouble, it seemed. So I bought another one for the other end of the travel trailer which I didn’t even open until a year later, a couple weeks ago, because the trailer was in storage for a year. This time they were both still silent, but they died one by one connected to a 100W laptop and 40W monitor. They overheated, I assume, and burned up something inside. The fans never came on—that’s why they were silent! Not recommended, obviously.
