The tailgate handle on my 2008 Toyota Tundra broke and when I went to the dealership I almost passed out when they told me that it was over $175 so I left there almost immediately because I was so shaken my how costly it would have been but then I remembered about having an Amazon account so I went and did some research and this unit came back with really good reviews and some other purchasers from the past made videos about how they installed it and how it was holding up and the quality that they found and I agree 100% with them so I'm so very happy that I purchased this and Is saved $145 and you can't go wrong with that

I went a year without being able to open the bed gate to my truck. I didn’t really think much about it cause it was broke when I bought it and I didn’t have time to go to a junk yard to find one that would match or so I thought that’s what I’d probably have to do but I saw these and ordered it, thought it was worth a try if it would fix it and it’s cheap. Well it worked and was easy to install I put it in a few months ago and haven’t had any problems with it. Great for the price and an easy fix. It’s nice to be able to lower the tailgate to load everything.

Works as well as new but @ fraction of the cost of an OEM product. Hope I don't have to but if I do, I would purchase again.

Item just as described and much cheaper than oem.I'd recommend you grease the heck out of everything for smoother operation.
