This shows up much better on darker surfaces than the blue line chalk. It also seems easier to remove than the blue.

Really good product before we had a job to see our lines with the blue and red chalk but with this product we just got makes it super eaiser to see the lines

Great chalk! Would recommend it. You get a lot of it for the money. It is sooo worth it!

I bought this 5lb bottle of straight-line chalk for testing tanks at work. One of our customers requested that we leak test the tanks we build for them by applying a water/chalk slurry to the outside, and then spray kerosene on the inside. If there is a leak, the kerosene will pick up the colour of the chalk and turn bright green, indicating a leak. In the past, we had used small refill bottles of blue chalk, but since we're doing a lot more tanks for this customer, I went looking for a more economical source of chalk powder. This product was very attractive because it's less than a quarter of the price by weight compared to the small refill bottles, and the bright green should show up even better than the blue chalk used to.
