I’m a bit disappointed. The quality of this coat seemed exceptional until I tried to unzip it. The zipper gets stuck just before it goes all the way down. The side of the zipper that only has the teeth, and not the actual zipper, was sewn on incorrectly. It's askew, causing the zipper to catch on it. I didn’t think I was ever going to get that zipper all the way down. After struggling with it for about five minutes, I finally managed to get it down, but the zipper did tear a little in the process. It's still really hard to unzip, though.Once I got it unzipped, I was able to try it on, and it fit me perfectly. I normally wear a large, and based on the measurements, it seemed to run small. So, I ordered one size up, and it fit perfectly. The jacket has a lot of adjustments, plenty of pockets, and a removable liner. This jacket would have easily received a five-star rating if the zipper hadn't been defective.

What I like best about this jacket is the trim look. If you have broad shoulders but a smaller stomach, this is the jacket for you. The size Large has plenty of room for my shoulders and the arm length is perfect but there isn't a bubble of excess fabric over my stomach. In addition to the great fit, there are some really well thought out features. First off, IT HAS A WATERPROOF ZIPPER!!! Why is that so hard to find? Instead of the usual extra large flap, secured with annoying velcro, this jacket has a very smooth running waterproof zipper. Behind the zipper is an additional insulating flap. There are velcro flaps at the color and at the waist. There are two sets of straps with velcro or snaps for adjusting the snugness of the sleeves. Fortunately, while putting the jacket on and taking it off, these did not get hung up on other velcro patches. The pockets are roomy and easy to access. There is an interior pocket with room for a large wallet or phone. The liner is warm and removable. While this jacket is characterized as All Season, I would more appropriately call it three season. perfect for cooler spring and fall riding and remove the liner for summer riding. The overall look is stylish, with the color blocks and stripes. The built in padding is somewhat thin but enough for duel sport and ADV riding.

Overall this seems like an okay motorcycling jacket for the money, assuming the one you get isn't defective like mine. One of my sleeve cuff zippers immediately came off and the way everything is put together I can't see how I could get it to the right end to put it back on. Forget adjusting the sleeve zippers while riding, they seemed to be designed catch the rubber seam and are very stiff. The other issue I found is on one side the magnets that retain the chest flaps doesn't work. It's magnetic just not strong enough to hold the flap up.Which leads me into my biggest design complaint, the flaps are just dumb. They fold up (see picture) and just look weird. Even on the side with the working magnet it's so weak that any amount of cross wind would just blow it loose and you'd be left with these things flapping around. The included armor is extremely stiff and seems to be comprised of two layers of foam with something in the middle between them for stiffness. It is branded as CE Level 1 (also pictured) but mine got so bent in shipping it made me look like I had a deformed spine. There is a 3M branded tag for the reflective gear, though both it and the CE labels look not quite right and all the English words on the labels aren't used quite right. It is definitely an all season jacket, though not a great option for rain, it is similar to a Bilt (CycleGear house brand) jackets I have. Removable liner feels quite warm when in the jacket. It fits true to the size chart, my chest is right at 44" and the XL fits fine though I'm 6'2" so it doesn't extend any lower than my belt line.I don't know why other reviewers are rating this highly but as of now the two I see have very short review histories and rate everything five stars, so take that into account.UPDATE: The customer service email printed in the packaging doesn't work, my message was returned as undeliverable. I re-examined the 3M tag and I'm even more suspicious. The CE logo looks exactly like the Chinese export logo (google counterfeit CE mark for pictures) and I do not believe this armor was tested. Ride at your own risk with this knock off!

The jacket has a lot of vent areas and is decently padded. I like the red color as well but I guess like others I have a slight zipper problem. When attempting to zip the front closed there is something stuck at the top of the zipper making it very difficult to fully seat a part of the zipper all the way in to zip it up. I found that if I constantly inserted it and pulled it out over and over again it eventually stopped having an issue but it was kind of a turn off from an otherwise well made jacket on mine. The other zippers didn't have any issues and it is made to where it can be either warm or cool depending on what pockets and such you open. It also fits pretty true to size so all they really need to do is fix whatever situation they got going on with the zippers. I'm unsure if it's just a bad run or what but I feel the jacket could be worth the money if they did resolve that issue. It makes me question the QA a bit though that the main zipper of the jacket doesn't zip properly though.

For the money this is a quality jacket and definitely feels like it will provide good protection. It definitely isn't lightweight but that's expected if you want something that will actually provide decent protection. Really like some of the thoughtful design features and the coloring.
