For SOME reason my parents deprived me of the opportunity to own the coolest night light in existence... the lava lamp. I think they thought it was a safety hazard which knowing how clumsy I was.. is probably based. But when my son recently asked me if HE could own a lava lamp... I immediately jumped on Amazon so he could live out my lava lamp childhood dream. It's really a great lava lamp. Great size, well made, great price and it's big. It's not one of those teeny tiny wannabe lava lamps... this is a lava LAMP. The colors are awesome and it doesnt take an hour to heat up. I also dont think it gets too hot. It does get pretty warm but not so hot it burns. I also do not feel like it's a fire hazard. I highly recommend if you want to live YOUR lava lamp dream too.

Amazing. JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR ! It was listed as used but I received a brand new one! Very cool just gotta let it cool every 8 hours. It comes with instructions so be sure to read that prior to plugging it in.

So I bought my daughter one of these as a replacement for one she bought and was nonoperational. Hers looked great right out of the package. The liquid was a clear pink. We have been using it every day for three days and it's perfect.Seeing how much I liked it my husband encouraged me to buy one for myself. I just opened the box and the blue liquid is very cloudy. Can't see through it at all. It doesn't look like the pictures posted by other customers. I'm heating it up for the first time now and keeping my fingers crossed. I was really looking forward to this. If it clears up I will update my review. If not I'll contact the seller and hopefully they can help me like they did their other customers who had the same issue.It didn't work. The wax melted and started moving but the liquid is so cloudy I can barely see the wax. I returning it and getting a replacement sent. I'm trying to not get my hopes up. At least my daughter's lamp works well.Edit: The defective lamp was picked up and the replacement delivered literally the day after I posted my review. They even offered me a full refund even though I had already gotten the new one. Can't ask for better customer service. The last picture is the replacement lamp. Looks so cool 😎

This is a very cheaply made lava lamp that runs on 110v - so you’ll need a step down transformer and a plug adapter; or to completely rewire the lamp to a base compatible with 220v bulbs if you’re not in the US. If you do not, the bulb will blow.The base feels incredibly cheap and there is some light leak from the bulb. The globe is fine but the glass has some impurities.The master liquid ok, certainly not completely clear but decent for the price. The wax just forms blobs that go up and down, and it does not snake, so quite boring.I bought this lamp to learn how to change wax / liquids, but as an actual lamp it’s very disappointing.1 star because it technically works, 1 for the clear master liquid and 1 because it’s quite cheap.
