Maybe I'm biased because I'm a JBL fan. I've had their blue tooth headphone and I have the JBL charge 3. I didn't pair the JBL charge 3 with this JBL charge 4 however because I would have had to do some type of update or something to JBL charge 3. However, My Brother does own a JBL charge 4 and the pairing is seamlessly so that definitely is a plus.

Heard about these speakers and decided to give the a try. NOT disappointed. Great sound. Use the almost daily and have only charged it once. Clear sound at high volume, which I don't do a lot. The case is of high quality from this supplier. Links easily to another JBL. We used it by a pool and it got splashed and there are no problems with it. Kept on pumping music.

It just sounds awesome. And at this price for “last year’s model”, couldn’t pass it up. Storage case is cool just use one zipper all the way around instead of trying to get the two to meet in the middle. You’ll curse if you do. I don’t give a crap about JBL’s Party Boost and linking it with my newer JBL Flip. If you want to pair this with any newer JBL speakers, you won’t currently be able to because it isn’t backwards compatible. This version 4 will only pair with older JBL Speakers that aren’t equipped with Party Boost.

I bought and returned previous JBL portable speakers because the bass sounded tinny. HOLY COW, this one is a jump in the right direction. Sound on it is AMAZING, decent bass, wide dynamic range. Just note it's Directional, not 360 sound.Great product, would recommend :D
