I get it, it's not a top of the line sound bar, but why does it have to sound all tinny? Listening to movies is bearable, but listening to music is terrible.I've spent the same amount of money on another sound bar (that came with a powered sub) and it sounded way better than this.

Although I had some issues connecting my soundbar to my tv because I have an older version tv without a HDMI ARC outlet, I purchased a separate optical cable that connect my SB to my cable box. The volume on this surround system is awesome. Only thing it does not show how high the volume is and to control the volume I have to use separate converter from my tv converter. Otherwise I am still trying to figure out things

Small but mighty at a price point that cannot be beat! Nothing else compares within the similar style and price category. This can probably even out perform some of the higher end models that include subwoofers. Some of the previous reviews are a bit bizarre and confusing as there is nothing really negative about this sound bar, especially at this cost. It is a higher quality product with the weight heft to prove it. It does not feel or sound cheap. I have owned many JBL speaker products, including massive band equipment speakers, and this smaller set-up did not disappoint! It is perfect for listening to music with 5 bass settings. It also sounds great in various sized rooms with any layout. As advertised, it definitely has the deep, punchy bass to take your movie or music experience to the next level. The music functionality is probably the best with the t.v. viewing surround sound set-up not far behind and perfect for everyday use.

NO LA RECOMIENDO, los medios y agudos son debiles, la preecualizacion es deficiente, el bass si aumenta pero en momentos es auturdidor, no hay mejora en el sonido, el dolby no es perceptible, parece un producto de mala calidad en cuanto a los altavoces, JBL me decepcionó un poco con esta barra de sonido, los bajos decían ser profundos y no es así es de mala calidad suenan como bocina china, recomiendo algún otro modelo de barra de sonido para mejorar la experiencia de audio, yo la utilizo principalmente para ver películas o series y me dejó insatisfecho y decepcionado, el precio no lo vale para nada, y eso que la agarre en oferta. Desearía devolverla pero ya la instalé y detesto lidiar con el sistema de Amazon que es súper deficiente ya que compré esta barra porque no quisieron hacerme la devulucion de efectivo de un producto que nunca me llegó, y tardo 1 mes en devolverme el dinero en un tarjeta de regalo en lugar de mi tarjeta de débito forzándome a consumirles.

The JBL was easy to install and improved the sound of my tv immensely. Works flawlessly. Good value for the money.
