I don't see chic when I look at this bag. I see a beach bag but with a tight weave.Likes:1. The width is large and that's unusual. Most totes have a 3-4 inch bottom. This one is almost 7 inches wide.2. The color is apricot. My first of this color. Usually, it says apricot but it's tan instead.3. It has a sewn-in vegan leather base.4. The wrist bag is fantastic.a. It's zippered.b. It's lined.c. It has 2 inner pockets, and one is zippered.d. It's chic!Dislikes:1. Small handles for shoulders. They always use these little models for shoulder-carry pictures. It's unrealistic.2. I'm not sure this is a negative for a beach bag. It doesn't have a way to close the tote.3. It's smaller at the bottom than the top.The quality justifies the cost. 4-stars.

Recently I was in a boutique in a beach town. I saw a “Vegan“ tote like this and it was very expensive. I was happy when I found this lookalike at a reasonable price. I opened the package and found that it had an unpleasant smell. It has been two days and there is still a slight odor.The tote will hold a lot. My only concern is that there is no way to close it. When I bought it I read there was a zipper, but it is on the included wristlet and not the large tote. I am trying to come up with a way to secure the large tote, maybe double sided Velcro.I am not crazy about a large tote holding a tablet and other valuable items that can be easily reached into or have things fall out of it.The appearance is nice but I can only give a 3/5.
