It is excellent! Threw a red gate check bag over it for extra protection at check in it was great! I used bubble wrap inside for extra car seat protection. My car seat was perfect on both going and coming home ! Excellent

We heard of several horror stories of airlines/baggage companies trashing child seats, so we bought this for a flight to the US. The seat (group 1) fits well and is held in place with an inner strap. There's plenty of space in side to stuff blankets, push chair covers, jackets etc. The wheels are pretty good, it's not the easiest thing to wheel through a busy airport due to the width and low centre of gravity (it tries to tip back upright unless lent over far enough). So it's maybe easier to load this onto a luggage trolley for long walks. On our return flight it seems like this bag fell off the baggage truck or got dragged across tarmac/a hard surface, because there was a HUGE scuff down the front which went through the (thick) cordura material in one place, and meant the seat was slightly scratched on a plastic panel and the seat fabric took a slight nick, which we sewed up. But without this bag I hate to think what state the seat would've been in - trashed cover & possibly broken plastic parts. A bit of duct tape sorted out the hole fine. It's not padded, so big impacts could still damage the structure of the seat, but it means the bag isn't too bulky if you need to fold it away in the boot.

I needed a travel bag for a cross-country flight with my 21 month old. I had no problems packing the car seat in. You must put the seat fully upright and take your time, and it zips up easily. It's so much easier pulling a 25 pound car seat than strapping it to your back. Yes, it's only a cloth handle but I had no issues maneuvering. I had my diaper bag over my shoulder, pulled this bag, and alternated between carrying my 22 pound kid and pushing her in a stroller one-handed, and still had no problems with this bag. The TSA security guys also had no problems removing and putting the car seat back into the bag. It doesn't seem very tough but survived treks through parking lots and terminals. I will be using this again for future air travel. And the cloth handle worked fine, though others who are taller (I'm 5'4") may have a different opinion. It also lies flat and easily stores in the overhead bins on the plane.

We used this for our child car seat when transporting it at the airport. We needed the car seat in the airplane on our second flight so this bag was very useful for us. If you are buying it to check in your car seat as luggage be aware that it has no padding to protect the car seat. The bag is only made of thin (but strong) fabric wich makes it easy to fold when empty and takes very little space.

To spend thirty-five dollars, check the seat for free, and avoid the hassle of overpaying for an old plastic rental seat -- WELL worth it. Our Graco Nautilus fit nicely inside; in fact, there was so much room that I put 3 beach towels in to protect the arm rests and headrest. The bag is a heavy-duty tight-weave nylon on a plastic platform with 4 wheels. The little wheels do not swivel, and they aren't the greatest, but I still found this bag more advantageous than not. There was a loop handle on the back and a telescoping handle for dragging (leaves a little to be desired for tall people), plus 2 zippers for easy access. The zippers are in the middle of the case, and extend all the way to the base which I felt made it uber-easy to get the seat in and out, plus there was a very long strap inside to secure the seat to the base in case the seat is much smaller than the base/bag. The strap was useful to keep the seat centered as the wheels are not high-quality so rolling it is not supremely easy.Of course there are pros and cons, but the main gist: for under forty bucks this thing WILL protect your car seat and save you the hassle of finding a safe seat on the other end of a plane ride. I'm very pleased with our purchase!
