These springs just aren't what I expected. They aren't very strong.I wanted springs for my recliner mechanism but now I see that they are only for supporting cushions, so these won't work for me.

I got these to try and fix my futon style sofa. In one section its sagging pretty bad and its because the springs broke/ snapped when my kid jumped on it. These springs are tight enough to pull the coils back together. Yet just enough give to be able and connect them without worrying it will fly off. If your like myself and money's tight & buy a new couch/chair isn't in the budget. Give these a try . They are typical couch spring quality . And getting these for a few dollars is a good value.

After a spring was loose and just putting a piece of wood down I decided to fix it right.After fixing the spring and adding the springs the support is better than new. I plan to add some elastic strips l,memory foam ,and some new fabric and padded to have a new couch again
