Great idea, terrible execution. The bolt that is connected to a very flimsy mounting plate is is just arc-welded in one spot in the center. If it used a beefier mounting plate and the bolt was properly welded to it, I would definitely order more. However, in the state it is in, it is unusable for use on hives, maybe just nukes, unless you want your hive to end up crashing to the ground because the legs have folded in a light breeze. This is what happens when the greedy manufacturer knows nothing about the application. Cheap peace of chinezium. BTW, there is no mounting screws but I am not docking it for not including them.

Metal plate that screws into the base is only spot welded to the bolt and popped off.Very cheaply made and will cause your hive to fall over.

Perfect! These don’t leak like some of the other brands. Just what I needed. Perfect for keeping ants out of beehives.

Rather disappointed in this product. Flimsy caps that just slide down the screw legs. Had to put plumbers tape on the legs to get them to stay even a little bit. No screws for installation. grrr... Had to make a special trip just to find screws, and they need very small ones! Finally got them installed and I'm not so sure they are going to handle the weight a full beehive will have once it is full of honey. Concerned they won't handle one of our strong wind days. Time will tell. They may surprise me. I will revise my feedback if it does.
