I have been doing cakes for over 20 years and this product took me a minute to be able to use properly. I would not recommend for beginners. I think it needs to be a little less sturdy and maybe more flexible to be able to bend around fondant and around sides of round cakes. It does do the job and makes great impressions.

I used this for a project I made. I mixed the fondant colors to add a more realistic look. I used one for shingles on the roof of my project, and another for a walkway. It worked great. I was pleased.

I haven’t used these molds yet but I will be trying them out this week. They were smaller than I expected and I’m not sure if I read anywhere that they would be 3D printed, I was honestly expecting silicone.
