Great replacement part fits my 2001 Dodge ram 1500 4×4 perfectly, took less than 5 minutes to install! You DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE OFF DOOR PANEL! When you receive new switch, check out where install clips are, exactly the same as the one you're taking out. Use small flat blade screwdriver slip in under the front, where the clip is, pull up front slightly as you pull up push screwdriver in it pops right out. Then pull the back out, there is plenty of wire, unplug old switch plug in the new one before snapping in place test it mine work perfectly I snapped it back in place then it took less than 5 minutes very very happy with the product and the install. I read another person's review and this is what I followed to do mine you won't be disappointed.

2001 Ram. On the original switch, the drivers window goes down, but not up. Swapped this out with a flat head in just a few minutes. Youtubers are telling you the whole door panel has to come off, but it doesn't. Study the clips on the new part and you will see. Insert the flathead into the front end of the old switch and pry it up, then pull up and out to pull the switch out. There is plenty of cable slack. unplug old switch, plug in new, test to make sure it all works and snap into place, rear end first.

Wow, I never write reviews but had to say some great things about this switch. The last driver window switch is got was $100 from napa and it's been a year and went out. Now, I can't say the longevity of this product just yet but compared to the switches at the local parts shop the price of this plus the new plastic switch cover this product is a winner. My cover has been broken for years and i kept super gluing it so was a real nice bonus getting a new cover and switch and it took 5 seconds to install. Also wanted to mention the feel of the product. Compared to other switches it did feel like it was made with quality parts.
It works perfect I have no complaints
