I replaced these a part of a project to replace the saddle and nut with bone. Are they effective, in improving. the tone? I can't really say since I changed everything all at once and not incrementally. but they are not expensive and definitely look and feel like quality products.unlike most bridge pins for sale they do not have the mother of pearl (or imitation of) dot inlays. they have a very nice clean look of bone and I like the look.if you like that look and maybe some improvement in tone - get these, they are not expensive either!

These bridge pins are of very good quality. These bone bridge pins are consistent and very hard that contributes to excellent sustain and enhances volume acoustically. Excellent value for the money. These pins fit my gibson Hummingbird perfectly. The dimension diagram the seller shows is spot on! I slightly stained the ones I installed on the guitar. I tried to show the actual color on the foot rest. Each one of the pins are polished and buffed. All I can say is buy them! They used some excellent bone. BTW, I did not have to sand to fit any of these pins. They are a perfect fit.

Purchased a 2nd hand Guild D120 (Westerly Collection) dreadnought, which is made in China. The pins were plastic and abused, they were pushed in so far I to stick my hand in the hole in order to push them out with a block. So I was searching for a nice set of bone endpin a that not only would sound great and give the Mahogany/Mahogany dread some life, but also fit perfectly in my new guitar, without me having to sand them down for hours or return them. Not only did these fit Perfectly, they made the guitar a bit tighter on the bass notes and added a little more sparkle and life to the treble strings…. The guitar rings out like it’s meant to, it’s an all-‘hog guitar so of course you want to keep it somewhat warm and dark — and these pins didn’t detract from that… they just gave it more life and breadth.Combined it with some Martin Retro Monels and I’m in love. Don’t hesitate, especially at this price. They look beautiful too in their unbleached state. 5 out of 5, unbeatable value.

I thought I’d try bone over the plastic pins the OM came with. The guitar an Eastman PCH1 has a bone nut and saddle so I installed these. I can’t hear any difference but they have to be better than plastic.By the way. Big, big thumbs up to Eastman guitars. I own two Eastman acoustics . They are unbelievably great sounding guitars. Even the PCH which is a $300 unit. Build quality is unparalleled and playability is awesome. It even came with a torrified Sitka spruce top. A $300 guitar!!! Terrific company. Yes it’s built in China. But it’s hand made and plays like a dream. I have an AC222ce also and it’s even better. Came with bone pins too..
