Unique in that they have a raised base rather than a flat bottom. Design and coloration is gorgeous. Large enough to hold a nice portion of pasta and or salad or soup. Because it is flared rather than straight sided, care must be used when moving a bowl of soup. But I really love the styling and color.

Two for the price of one! Usually, these ramen/pasta plates are super expensive for one! The color is beautiful. My ramen looks delicious. I can basically use this plate for salad, soup, pasta, or any type of bowl recipe. So glad I bought this set.

Love these bowls! They add a little bit of fun to the day. Perfect for salad, curry, pasta, ramen, whatever you may want!Only complaint is that the center of the bowl dips lower than the rest like a pit. I assume its part of the making process as the pits match the shape of the design.

The plates arrived in good order; well packaged. The shallow bowl shape allows for the pasta to remain contained by the plate, rather than the more common flat plate, where the pasta will creep to the edges with the sauce tending to separate from the pasta.The bowls come in a matching color (mine were blue), but each bowl’s pattern is different. It appears that the coloring is added to a spinning bowl and spins out to form the decorative patterning.They bowls are heavy and sturdy; thus the temperature remains pretty constant for the spaghetti and sauce over the meal time.I’ve never had bowls specifically for pasta before, but I am enjoying them immensely. I anticipate that we can use them for things like Cobb salads or Chef salads too.
