It is durable minus the green end which met its match on day 1. Good size for our 70lb pooches. I think it might be harder than their normal toys because the squeaking doesn't happen often.

This ended up being one of my dog's favorite indoor toys. It's held up very well. Usually a toy would have a puncture or be broken into by now. Looks basically the same as when I got it months ago.

This chew toy worked surprisingly well for my two aggressive chewers, which is a big plus!Durable for Aggressive Chewers: It held up nicely for a good while, even with my heavy chewers, which is impressive compared to other toys we’ve tried.Perfect Texture: It’s not too stiff, which my dogs really appreciate. They tend to avoid the super-hard chew toys, so this one kept their interest longer.Caution for Swallowers: While durable, it’s not indestructible. If your pet is prone to swallowing chewed-off pieces, this might not be the safest option for them. If your dog loves softer, engaging chew toys and you can monitor their play, this is a solid pick!

I bought this for a friend's dog, who is a fierce chewer. So far the body of the toy has held up very well, although she has chewed through the rope handle. She is a small dog, less than ten pounds, and I think the toy itself may be slightly too big for her jaw to grip it in the middle (she grips it from the end). It's been over a month and she has chewed on it almost daily and so far, so good.

I have a lab and bought this toy for her, for Christmas. She is a very strong chewer and while the actual rubber corn part has stayed completely intact, she broke the squeaker in less than 10 minutes, which wouldn't be a problem if she really liked the toy as a whole, but she was really just interested in the fact that it squeaked. My hope was that if it squeaked then she would be intrigued and therfore play with it a lot and it would help keep her teeth a little bit cleaner, but since the sqeaker broke she really couldn't care less. I am honestly not sure if she is just a really strong chewer or if it is a cheaply made toy. I would say if you have a smaller, gentler dog then this is a good toy, but if you have a big, strong dog I would save your money and buy something else.
