On first impression the bushings and pin looked low quality and it had some play right out of the box. However after replacing the totally worn out 20 year old linkage the shifter felt good and tight. This only lasted for a couple months before the new linkage gained a little play. But after 2.5 years of use it still only has a little play so I cant really complain

Products poorly made, bushings are cheap, didn’t last even a month, and the weld between the tubes will break, very poorly made. And shifter leans to the right slightly.

An essential part to replace on your manual transmission Subaru if shifting is sloppy. Install this with polyurethane bushing kit and shifting will improve significantly.
