The Kailas pulley looks and feels well made. The bearings work nicely and a 10mm rope runs through it easily and smoothly. Compared to my other micro sized pulleys, this one is larger and beefier. It's bigger than what I'd want to carry in a PFD so this pulley will be part of my larger unpin kit for recovering boats and gear when setting up a mechanical advantage system during whitewater river rescues. It's an affordable pulley for adding to a kit that you hope to never have to use!

I secure this pulley with a carabiner to a hitching point about 15' above the ground. It functions very smoothly and has very little side-to-side slack that can make a pulley wobbly. The machining is high quality and the color matches the description. I trust the rating and certification -- I'm not in a position to test it myself, but the pulley seems very substantial and sturdy.

Je voulais soulever une charge avec trois poulies, celle-ci en haut et une en bas. Légère, compacte et efficace.

Steel pulley itself feels very solid and the aluminum outer makes this damn light. Machining and details are impressive. Pulleys are super smooth and I am really impressed by both of these. Excited to use these more!
