Havent installed them yet so I cant comment on how they sound because the package didnt come with enough screws. These kind of pickups need 4 per pickup. Unfortunately the package only came with enough to mount 1 pickup. Gave 3 stars just to be fair for now. UPDATE: Talked to their customer service and they would replace the missing screws to install these pickups coming from China they would take 8-15 days to get here. Too long, so I robbed a few from another bass, ordered a bunch from someone else, installed the pickups on my project bass and they sound good. Keeping rating at 3 stars. This isnt a deal breaker for me but, cmon, 8-15 days for 4 screws. Ive bought several things from them you would think that they could come up with some screws for me a bit quicker

This is a cheap bass I got for 40$$ on C/List some time ago and did sound OK... But I needed some thing that would sound like the bass a buddy of mine has in South America ( Venzla )... and this ones did the job... Well... I might go with some 1/4 pounders in the future 'cause I want a bass that thumps.... This will be played by somebody else tho...as I play lead guitar in my band called "The Jack Parrish Band"... and hopefully my new movie about me called... THE SOUTH AMERICAN RED NECK....
