The matte gold aluminum looks great on my 05 Squier Standard. Screws holes lined up well enough to not need any drilling. Very pleased with my purchase.

Nice, but needs modification to fit F-spaced or trembucker covered humbucker pickups. Had to use a dremel to make the humbucker space longer to fit a Seymore Duncan nickle covered trembucker (F-spaced).

I wasn’t expecting much but what I got was exactly what I was expecting. That might sound bad but it’s a relief when buying cheap aftermarket guitar parts.So what to expect. First, there’s no way I would put this directly on a guitar I care about, never. It requires sanding the back edges and holes to remove any burrs. This will remove some of the gold on the back but it’s the back so who cares. Your mileage may vary on the fit, mine was a bit of a tight fit and the screw holes didn’t line up precisely but close enough that I wouldn’t side screw a hole.All in all, it’s cheap and makes a pretty decent look, to me.

This matte black is beautiful. It matches up and fits perfectly. It is so lightweight, and more scratch resistant than plastic pick guards.
