I bought the mason jars about three years ago, but as you can see from the picture, they haven't changed. I've been using them on a regular basis all this time, they are durable and keep food well under this very convenient lid.

The jars are definitely cheap - and look cheap. Several came dirty and one was broken. Not a good look. I might just have been unlucky but this was one of the worst buys of the year for me.

This is my second order of KAMOTA canning jars. I was thrilled with the first. When the second batch arrived, I thought they were all cracked-- which was hard to believe with the incredible packaging. On closer inspection, it seems that each of the jars had a very visible manufacturing seal line in the glass on two sides (don't know what to call it). I was disappointed as I like a nice clean look to glass. But at the end of the day, it doesn't seem to make a difference for the purpose I have in mind. Not enough to bother returning.
