In 1997, Kanu Surf set out to build and sell better board shorts for Men, Women and Children.
Founded right in the heart of the Garment District in New York City, they first sold door-to-door to local surfers, mom and pop surf shops, and a few gift stores at local beaches. A few good years of making waves, always focusing on quality and value, and Kanu managed to land on the racks of department stores, sport shops and anywhere swimwear is sold – nationwide.
Recently, Kanu Surf has successfully partnered with Amazon as its top online distributor of its complete line of swim trunks and swimwear.

I got the white shorts and when I put them on, I loved them. They fit as expected, weren't too short or too long , not see-through, and the material is very comfortable. Until I bent over. Then my stomach (which is not flat) poofed out and I heard the ripping sound of the velcro that is where a zipper would normally be. About half of the velcro came undone. It was not ruined. I just had to pull it over and re-fasten it. But I don't particularly like hearing (or having other people hear) the velcro coming undone when I bend over or then having to re-close my pants. I wear my tops untucked, so no one will ever see anything when this happens, so I wear the shorts a lot. They are really comfortable. I would give them 5 stars if they had a zipper (or nothing) instead of velcro.

Great shorts but fit small. I am normally a l/xl and need a 1x in these. Definately size up! I ordered 3 different sizes to find the best fit and returned the rest. Quality seems great.

Decent quality. :-) shipped really fast.Only slight negative is that the shorts legs are quite wide (no taper at all) but that's fixable. LOVE the light but soft fabric and also the length is perfect for me.

Good length, good qualite, but fits small. I usually wear a 2X and that is what i bought, but i should have got a 3x.
