Perfect fit for our 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. Of note: the old mirror removed in a different way of how this then installed. To remove old - slide/push the old mirror up and out of itsMount, then remove the backer. Then connect new mirror, and snap into place (new mirror has single connection point in center of mirror). Once installed works perfectly.

This works great but you need to remove the 2 screws from the mount in the original and swap mount with new.

Mirror was a perfect fit. The glass is clear and free of waves, turn signal works and the heating element as well. It wasn't OEM so there were no tabs to hold the turn signal wire down. I just secured it inside the mounting plate. You will have to remove the OEM mounting plate to the motor, so just angle the old glass in and down to get a large screwdriver in there to pop the mirror and mounting plate off as one (there is only a single ball holding it in place in the center). The new mirror will pop onto the mounting hole easier with a small dab of grease. The rest is simple, plug and pop and you're good to go.
