Woof, only half came intact. The rods themselves are simple glass rods, but more than half shattered, broke, or exploded in transit. For the ones that shattered, they would be great for giving you microscopic splinters that can never be found. The ones that were intact should work for regular stirring, as originally intended, but I do worry about durability given how they fared in transit

Ordered 12, received 11. Well packaged, but the ends were still damaged on several. They’d be fine in a pinch, but would look elsewhere. Shame, rest of Karter’s glassware is great.

The description says rounded and polished ends but the came flat which doesn’t work well with a round bottom test tube.
