These are great filters, and the magnet system is perfect! I returned it and bought the Mega kit to have the 10-stop filter as well. I like having the polariser, UV, and night filters too. I was pleasantly surprised when the Mega Kit came with ND-rating color tabs for the case. It feels like a lot more for the little bit of extra money.

I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I heard good things about Kase and figured I’d spent enough on mobile lenders that are great, but not quite professional. So this kit may be over-the-too for me, but I do like it. I’ll try to explain for those who might be as confused as I was.Note: I can’t vouch for any particular seller of these lenses nor can I verify the authenticity of them. This review is based on the product received which is assumed to be authentic. So, this entry-level kit, is NOT Kase’s original Wolverine series lenses. But it is a newer series that is based on the Wolverine lenses (and also backwards-compatible with them). So, I guess they sort of kept the name and added “Revolution” on it, but I see this kit listed as the KW Revolution Entry Kit elsewhere, so make sure you’re checking the model numbers to know you’re getting the kit you want (it’s listed in the description). I got the 72mm size as it works with some lenses I currently have.In any case, this IS the color coded lens system with stackable magnetic lenses. I was looking for something like this because it’s a pain to screw on and off lenses for mobile shoots, and this just makes it easier (though the more you stack, the less stable it gets so be careful! The official limit is 4!)The case for the Kase lenses is nice, and comes housing the 3 color-coded lenses in protective paper pouches, ND8 (blue), ND64 (yellow) and CPL (silver). There are two empty slim spots in the accordion case for filters of the same size, an additional two larger spaces in the front and back of the inner accordion, and then a tiny sleeve just on the outside above where button flap closes over that one can slide in an SD card, for example.Ok, so where it gets confusing is that these ARE magnetic but they ALSO have threads on the front so you can choose how to mount this. But you need to use them with one of Kase’s adapter rings that are included: the standard or inlaid adapter. It’s the inlaid adapter that allows you to avoid the vignetting that might otherwise occur around the edges because…it’s inlaid! Meaning…it’s able to get quite close. It’s not perfect, but it’s great when it works. Stacking more than 2 might cause you to start noticing things, but maybe not depending on the fit.So while this gives me a lot of flexibility in mounting options, it’s also worth highlighting that the inlaid adapter doesn’t work with step rings and, if you’re like me, you may find that the budget mobile phone lenses require extra adapters to get them working with the Kase system, especially if you have a lot of 67mm lenses (as I do).Overall, the lens quality SEEMS fantastic, but I’m comparing it to less professional options. It has the basic lenses I needed, and I am able to get it working with my other gear…despite the need for a few other accessories.I do wish there was more support for these products, as it’s hard enough getting into filmmaking or photography with no knowledge, and there’s not much support in the package or online that really makes the case for Kase over other systems (puns have been intended). Still, I’m happy with them, at least for simple, but sometimes professional looking, content creation. It’s hard to say whether this will meet the needs of pro photographers, but it is at least a try entry level kit. For these reasons, this amateur feels it’s worth recommending. Hope this helps!

I have quite a few different Kase filters, including their most expensive kit. This is a bit more lightweight and easier to pack, and so I often take this instead (the other one has a big filter holder). No problems at all with fit or usability. No issues with color shift.

I once experimented with traditional screw on filters but it was so fussy thst I gave up despite cool images. These Kase filters are fun to use as the magnet is strong and extra fun stacking multiple.

Great shelters that that has color-coded magnetic filters. The low profile rings manages to allow stacking of 2 or 3 filters with no vignetting.I think the Wolverine line is their top of the line range and boy does it show. Every single thing about these filters just exudes quality and precision. These are is fine and well-made a filter as I’ve ever encountered.I’ve been so impressed with this company’s filters as of late. Kase really gives those expensive German filters to run for their money. This is a great set using precision machined metal rings and a magnetic adapter that lets you quickly change filters and the build quality and fit and finish on these are nothing short of phenomenal and they’re low profile ensures you don’t get any vignetting or photographic artifacts. The color-coded rings make it easy to find the filter you want very quickly and to easily know what is on your camera when you have stacked filters. It’s the Revolution tag that are the ones that are color-coded.What I like about this set is it gives you all filters you will practically need for video. It is similar to another set that they have but instead of getting a UV filter for protection and glare reduction you get an UV and Night Light Pollution filter, important in video usually then still photography. You get a circular polarizer filter which is excellent by the way. Polarizers are great for eliminating glare and this one is adjustable so you can set the angle that your polarization is active in. And then 3 neutral density filters one at three stops and one at six and one at 10. This will allow you to shoot video on the brightest of days. You also get a lens cap and a very nice quality wallet to store the filters in. These are absolutely gorgeous filters that will provide you optically perfect quality and help you create beautiful images. For everything that you get, this is a very reasonable price and a great filter set.Kase has really raised the bar on price / performance.
