Woo hoo!! The steps to program this made me feel like a fool, but once done correctly... Worth every moment!! I've had my 2005 Scion xB for a year now without keyless entry and now I have it thank you so much!!

This remote works great for my 2002 rav 4 with the OEM Toyota RS3200 VIP system. The remote itself came preinstalled with a battery and had a nice little business card sized pamphlet with instructions on how to access their guides for programming each car.Took a 3 tries to get into the programming mode on the car but it definitely had to do with my timing of opening and closing the door and inserting and removing the key.The feel of the remote itself is good and it doesn’t feel cheaply made. My lock button was sticking but opening up the remote and shifting the rubber button took seconds to do.It perfectly captures the feel and look of a remote from a 2002 car. Of course it doesn’t feel or look like a 2024 remote, it’s not supposed to.

Wasn’t sure if this would work for my RAV4 as I didn’t get a remote when I bought it. Remote doesn’t seem as cheap as everyone says. Obviously from a price difference of 240 from Toyota to 20 bucks there will be a difference in quality. We’ll see how it holds up but you get what you pay for.Anyways I tried this remote, used a YouTube video to help with the programming. First time when I would hit a button after programming it would cycle the locks 4 times. That means you have done something incorrectly. Tried again and they cycled once at the end of the procedure. This means it’s ready to go. Also if you have too many remotes, you have to clear the stored remotes (last time instead of cycling the key off to on and back to off once, you cycle 2 times). Hopefully this information helps someone out there.

Works great and easy to program, but make sure your Door Jamb Switch on driver side works by checking to see if dome light comes on when opening the door, otherwise it is impossible to program the remote. They tend to go out after 10 years on many Toyotas. If your dome light does not come on, or if your vehicle mysteriously tries to auto lock the car, it could be that. On my 2007 FJ I was not able to program my remote until I replaced both $20 Door Jamb Switches. The driver side has to work for the programming sequence of opening/closing the door several times. I've been using this remote for 6 months now without issue. (you can also swap the one from the passenger side if that one still works).Edit 3/23/23 - Been using this for about 3 years now and still works great. Make sure to buy a quality name brand battery, as the cheap noname or ebay batteries have shorter range and act up intermittently to where I thought something was wrong with the remote. I bought Energizer Lithium and they work flawlessly.
