I have been an airbrush user for over three decades. I utilize my airbrushes for a variety of hobbies and possess several top brands and types, including single and double-action models. Naturally, I also have a medium-sized air compressor. However, as I reside in a small apartment, setting up and storing the compressor becomes a daily inconvenience for smaller projects that require less than 30 minutes of work. Consequently, I am seeking a compact compressor suitable for such projects.Two years ago, I came across a compact compressor. Initially, I was skeptical about its ability to replace a traditional compressor due to its small size. However, I had a small project and decided to give it a try.I had planned to give away the airbrush that comes with the compressor since I have more expensive ones that I use for all my projects. Upon examining the airbrush, I was pleasantly surprised by its good quality and decided to test it out.As I began working, I noticed that the compressor was remarkably quiet and conveniently turned on and off when the air button was pressed, conserving battery life and preventing overheating. The airbrush performed exceptionally well, never clogging or losing pressure from the compressor, which I conveniently kept in my pocket while working.I engaged in a 30-minute work session and observed that the battery charge remained at 100%, while the compressor exhibited minimal temperature increase. The disassembly process of the airbrush was remarkably straightforward.I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this compressor and airbrush.I will provide an update on its functionality after several uses. It is important to note that this product is designed for small-scale projects.I have encountered some negative reviews, primarily focusing on the perceived difficulty in using, assembling, and disassembling an airbrush. However, these concerns are not directly related to the quality of the airbrush itself.In general, I am not inclined to leave reviews; however, I believe that this product, considering its price point and performance, warrants my endorsement.

I've never used an airbrush before, so I have no point of comparison. But after playing around with this one this is what I have to report:This airbrush might be sufficient for small projects. Models, cake decorating, etc. With its tiny compressor and rechargeable battery it is very compact and easy to operate, but doesn't have much power (which is understandable, given it's tiny size).I definitely recommend using the hose, rather than attaching the airbrush directly to the compressor, otherwise you might as well be using a can of spray paint. Though I suppose you might get a bit more power if the air hasn't as far to go, so there's that.If you are having trouble getting paint to flow, loosen the knob at the back. I had to loosen mine quite a bit to get good flow.Now that I've used an airbrush, my conclusion is that I'm not a huge fan. There is just too much clean up to make it enjoyable. (I craft for fun.) Not just when you're finished, but every time you change colors.In conclusion, this is a good purchase if you just want to see if you are interested in airbrushing in general. It's not a serious tool at all.

I started off feeling quite positive about the kit, it was on it's way to a 4-5 star review until the compressor vibrated off the table and landed on the chair under it - about an 18" drop. This broke the latch that holds the battery in. I was able to keep using the unit by adding external pressure to hold the battery in place, but a little drop like that shouldn't have done ANY damage... It is worth noting that the compressor is round, so the only thing stopping it from rolling is the switch button. When stood on end it has enough vibration to make it 'walk', especially since it doesn't have any sort of rubber feet....Otherwise it is a nice bit of kit. The compressor is about the size and weight of a tall beer can. It can be used by either screwing onto the airbrush, or by using the included about 6' long hose. With the compressor on the airbrush, it's about like using a rattle-can of spraypaint. With the hose you get less weight and more maneuverability. The control was easy to operate. It was also nice to have the choice of 3 different size paint cups.I don't know how the airbrush compares to the much more expensive fancy models, but it seems to be good quality and did a nice job in my testing.Minor nits - the battery gauge never got to the 100% mark even after a couple days of charging. It also dropped to 50% fairly quickly, but probably would have gone for a long time after that. The gauge also only works when the battery is plugged into the compressor and the compressor is on.Aside from the battery latch failing I liked the kit.

I replaced my old compressor airbrush with this compact , self contained, cordless, battery powered airbrush. I love this thing. I used it to spray a top coat on some tooled leather pieces I made. There was a bit of a learning curve for me to get everything just right but what a great little sprayer. It has a window that indicates (in increments of 25) how much battery life you have left. The battery lasts a long time and it comes with a charging cord. It's lightweight, runs quiet and so nice not to have to listen to my compressor run. The kit comes with 3 different paint cups, cleaning brushes and instructions. The instructions aren't the best but I figured it out. I would order this unit again.

I’ve never used an airbrush before but was determined to give my daughter a cool, beach-themed birthday cake inspired by a video I watched online. It was easy to use and gave me the results I was hoping for. The water part came out great.
