The main wire used to hold the bristles are cut off and not filed down on the bristle end of the brush and so consider that for your brushing needs as it may scratch what you are cleaning. This seems typical of this style of brush although some other brushes have a plastic cap to cover the cut end. I'm cleaning out small thru hole ducts so the end shouldn't be an issue. The bristle section of the brush is stiffer than the handle section so don't expect much flex if you are trying to clean out a curved hole or tube. The packaging was open already. Looks like a returned item.

Easy to clean burners and blower wheel blades. Small enough to fit it tight spaces. Great reach on longer brushes and for the cost it's a no brainer and great value.
