This thing worked great and you would never know it is a cheap fix. It blends right in and my visor works as designed. Would def recommend to others.

I had to go to the hardware store and purchase the scress. The plastic part was there and does work well but having to go buy the rest of what I ordered was very frustrating.

I was skeptical that this repair would work and hold up my broken Windshield Sun Visor, but not only does it work, it was fairly easy to install. Very nicely designed.

This is the part I needed that works correctly. The plastic pieces fit properly. You need to squeeze with some force to get it to snap around the shaft. Once it's on, it slides up over a slightly thicker part of the shaft just before the flange. It fits snugly over that section, which prevents the visor from swinging freely when you need it to be at the side window. That snug fit is what the aluminum product lacks and what makes this product the right one (I tried both).Like others said, the screw is a wood screw and should be a pan head style instead.Well worth the money especially compared to the cost of a brand new visor!
