I used this product on my gloss rims and it turned out as advertised and you can barely see the curb rash. This product is as advertised and I recommend. No, I do not get paid for this and this is my first review of an Amazon product but I needed to let the people know this is what you need for curb rash on your alloy rims. I used about 4 coats after sanding it down and it looks amazing! Don't sleep on this product saved me hundreds by not going to a shop.

I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised how well it did work on my rims. The black paint matched beautifully and there is no sign of the original scratches or damage. I would highly recommend this product.

This product could be so much better but it did fix the problem if you look at the tire from a distance. Be prepared to use your own masking tape as the one in the kit is worthless. Not very sticky, kept curling up, Use your own detail brush because the foam tip on this brush is flimsy and as I knew it would , it came off during the painting. Lastly the paint is not good. If it were self-leveling it would be perfect. Fill in the grooves and give an even coat. However, this is more like cheap model/hobby paint. It is tacky, doesn't spread well. The main thing is that it covered the white scratches on a glossy black wheel so it's not so noticeable. But, don't look closely. (a second coat was applied after the photo on the right; the picture did not come out right due to glare, but it does look better). Saved me about $150 for a professional road rash repair.

Got caught up in weird curb rash position that was difficult to get out of . Scratched up a BRAND NEW mag real bad. I was really pissed...Got the black gloss fix kit. Worked like a charm. The kit will last for many repairs by the way. The paint marker is quite generous and using the brush applicator makes fixing large rashes a breeze. Speaking of the breeze, i recommend doing this inside if you can or when there is no freaking pollen in the air.... :)Paint color mached up perfect ! TOTALLLY WORTH IT !

First off, I’m sorry that you are reading this review. I know exactly how you feel. When I hit that curb it felt like my stomach dropped and my car was no longer perfect. Just remember it’s a car and it’s going to experience wear and tear.The product is what I consider a cheap fix. It will fix the damage to the naked eye but the scratch will always be there. It’s like a scar that heals overtime. Only you know it’s there and no one else unless they search for it.As you can see on the picture, the scratch is still noticiable after the application. But from a distance, you have to try hard to find it. I used the chrome black and it wasn’t the best match but it’s better than the scratch.Pros- cheap, easy to apply and will get you through until your next curb hit (it will happen trust me)Cons-tape doesn’t stick well and the paint isnt an exact match.
