I got this belt clip tool pouch to save me running back and forth to my garage when doing yard work. The materials are rugged and the different size and shape pouches make it fairly easy to pick one that will work for whatever tools I think might be handy. Today, I have it stocked with a scissors, duct tape, and a hand pruner. I'd have a wire nipper in it too if I ever figure out where they've all gone to - this pouch is going to become the permanent home for one so I don't have to keep solving that mystery day after day!What initially drew my attention to this pouch is the tape thong. It meets my needs, but is also the aspect that I think needs improvement. These fairly small clips are commonly used in keychains and backpack ornaments, where you rarely open. The clip end rotates freely, which is probably good in and of itself, and the springs are strong, also a good feature on its own. However, in combination with the small levers for operation, trying to open the clips mostly results in them rotating between my fingers. I would prefer a somewhat larger and easier-to-operate clip, so I'll probably end up swapping out the strap eventually.The rest of the pouch is just right, and the clips competently serve their primary function, so at worst it's a 4.5 star pouch.
