Since installing this doorknob on my bathroom door, a mild cross-breeze from an opposing window blows the door open. Even when locked. If you care about privacy at all, I wouldn’t get this one.

Really easy to install (twist on feature is brilliant). Really high quality and great polished chrome shine. Delivery was quick.

Product works, however, just know that the discounted price you're getting you're not getting the same product you would from the hardware store. Looks the same but definitely doesn't have the same feel.

We ordered five of these after one of the doorknobs in the house we recently bought crumbled in my hands. After having our tools trapped on one side of the door and us on the other for about 20 minutes (and not wanting to break the door!), we discovered that our old doorknobs were completely plastic inside and had locked in place. After searching around online for something higher quality, these seemed like an attractive replacement.We just installed all of them this weekend and it went very smoothly! They come with all the parts you need for an install, except perhaps a chisel if you need to chip away at any irregular wood pieces that cause the strike plate not to stay even. They look very attractive (just like all the other Venetian bronze fixtures you can buy from Kwikset, and they coordinate nicely with the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures we bought for our switch plates) and are high quality. It probably took my husband all of an hour to install all five knobs. It could have been done in far less time if we weren't overcoming the shoddy workmanship of the previous knobs we inherited (stripped screws, broken plastic insides, improperly installed strike plates, etc. Ugh).We've been really happy with these so far. Highly recommended.

I just bought this thing and it looks and feels really solid. Installation was a breeze, but I wasn't able to install the extra coupling that holds the knob in place. I don't own any measuring tools or a power drill. The previous knob died a horrible, horrible death, but this one feels really nice. Also, it comes with a key.The screws are on the outside, which may be a problem for anyone trapped inside if the lock ever goes bad. I'm hoping this keeps working for me as long as I'm living in this apartment. I'll let the next tenants deal with having to jump out of the window if something goes wrong.
