I have different candle warmers in my home and this is the best one that I have ever owned.-The base is a beautiful dark green color metal shade and so is REAL marble base.-The shade is the perfect weight (It is not too heavy like I have seen with other candle warmers where the shade is unstable).-I really like the fact that it is adjustable. Moreover, that there is a knob that can be turned to adjust the height (Most candle warmers are either not adjustable or they operate on a screw that is sometimes not stable).-The remote that is built into the cord has a knob as well to adjust the settings which is also a step up for a candle warmer.- Even though it has a marble base, the weight of the candle warmer is not overpowering or bulky.-The gold brass part of the candle warmer is the perfect color. It is not a cheap looking gold finish.- Even the back of the marble base where the cord is attached has a nice gold grommet (Which shows the care that went into the craftsmanship).- The packaging looks exquisite and it well packaged in high quality styrofoam.This candle warmer is the kind that I would expect to see at a high end department store.Once you get pass the funny name of the item "Furry Purr" (Which makes me think of a cat related item not a candle warmer) then one can appreciate the beauty and quality of this candle warmer. Although I know this company specializing in dealing with pet smells. I think that they the candle warmer would be better looking without the name etched on the front).Even with all of its perks, I gave it a four stars instead of five because of the high price. I think that it could be lower.

This candle warmer has a nice vintage look with the brass-colored metals and green marble base and shade. The base is heavy enough to ensure the candle and lamp won't be easily moved around. The adjustable height allows for candles of multiple sizes. The inclusion of an extra bulb is a nice touch.The dimmer gives full range control of the heat light, and the timer modes are great for making sure the warmer shuts off if forgotten at bedtime, etc. The bulb gets plenty warm; however, it does take 10-15 minutes to really start melting the wax before the candle starts putting off scent. During use, the shade and the candle do get very warm, so keeping the pets and kids away from it is paramount.We have no complaints with this device or its operation!

The warmer comes with 2 bulbs which have the pin-type connectors, so not your standard bulbs. Install a bulb, plug it in, press the power button, then increase the brightness of the light to the desired setting - that's it. It does an excellent job warming the candle and I do believe it releases more scent than just burning the candle. Being able to adjust the height of the bulb to be closer to the candle is a nice feature as well, although I'm not a huge fan of the way the arm adjusts, but that's a very minor complaint. Overall, this is a nice looking, fairly well built, and functional unit.
