This lense is listed without mentioning the brand name with a high price which gives you the impression that it is a high quality lense. Unfortunately, it is a $12 - 16 (without the adapter) Vivitar lense sold on Amazon and eBay! When you use it for photography, you will see parts of the barrel if you don't zoom in a bit which defetes the wide lense purpose. It is okay for video recording, you will not see dark portions around the corners. The other issue with the adapter, which you need to install on your RX100, is that it will hit the end of the seafrogs case, which I use with my camera for under water photography, so you will need to take it off if you want to continue to use your seafrogs diving gear.
