Fantastic for the price. Punches way above its weight in quality, but half the price of competitors offering similar canvas jackets. 6'0ft, 198lbs. Snug around the chest in a good way, a little extra room in the waist area but an overall modern fit (with the option to tighten it with snaps). Not lined, definitely a great spring to summer option.There is an area on the chest that needs better stitching, but it is cosmetic stitching. Great jacket, will purchase in other colors if there is a sale.

Jacket looks good and made well. Feels durable. Great option for when you need a light weight jacket and want to be warm but not too heavy. Unusually wear a medium but had to go with a small.

I love this style and the material. The cotton canvas is not heavy yet it is sturdy. I have no idea why it is called shirt jacket. It is a perfect jacket for spring, summer, and fall.While the jacket has a style reminiscent of Type II, as it has defining front pleats and flap pockets, the two pockets are, however, at the bottom. I love these pockets, because they also have a side opening, which creates hand warmer pockets. Therefore, the jacket has 4 separate pockets. They are like a combination of Type II and Type III pockets. Very practical.I also love that the jacket has snap buttons as well as a zipper, that is a modern style twist.Furthermore, this kind of cotton canvas looks and feels better and better as it gets old.BTW while the item pictures for this cotton canvas jacket do not show Levi's red tab, the red tab is at lower left seam as described. See the picture I posted.I enjoy this jacket when I hike with my dog early in the morning and spend time at a cafe with him afterwards.
