Listen it’s time to upgrade your look and get the wider higher electrical covers people!!! It looks more modern and it’s cleaner looking plus covers up little screw ups from older covers. The price is way worth the value you get for the upgrade and the ease. Get yourself some abs watch how your home just feels newer and cleaner.

I messed around with$2.00 cover plates that bowed and fit poorly. This cover plate fits perfectly and stands up to abuse.The bitterness of poor quality lasts longer than the sweetness of low price. Spend the money and save yourself frustration and sub-standard results.

YEARS ago, I replaced all the "regular" switches in our home with "rockers." This required new wallplates too. Not knowing the difference and/or the orange-themed home center not carrying the "midway-sized" plastic wallplates, I purchased the cheap nylon ones. I really liked the old ones but just caulked it up that these are what they make now.Fast-forward to today. Installing smart switches and decided to "google" plastic Levition wallplates and found out they still make them!Pros: These plates are white-white. They look super clean - so much better over the nylon plates. I guess over the years, the nylon plates slowly started turning a light ivory color. Plus, inside the screw heads are all white unlike the nylon plate screws.Cons: These are crazy expensive compared to nylon plates. Maybe I should have shopped around more? If you're replacing a few plates, it might be fine. I'm doing over a dozen so it added up.
