I wanted something for moving around small volumes for home science projects with the kids, and this certainly fits the bill. Works with inexpensive tips, and I found that out of the box it was calibrated reasonably well across its stated volume range. I pipetted 100, 500, and 1000 microliters of distilled water into a zeroed-out medicine cup on a reasonably trustworthy scale, and got 98, 498, and 992 milligrams, respectively. No complaints for the price!

This pipette is a great value alternative for the much more expensive brands sold by scientific supply companies - works well and is great for students - where if they drop it etc its not $$$ wasted!

This micropipette works very well for my garage lab setup. While does feel cheaper quality than other brand-name pipettes I use in lab, it is very straightforward and cost-efficient. Compared to other P1000 pipettes, this one seems mostly accurate, but don't expect any values between whole numbers since the dial is rigid and fixed to just 100 to 1000uL in 1uL increments. With that, it also lacks a lock mechanism to avoid accidentally changing the pipetting value given that it is quite rigid and doesn't change the value easily without sufficient force. That being said, it gets the job done and I am quite satisfied with this pipette for larger volume transfers.
