I found that this filter does not hold up nearly as long as the original manufacturer filter. It seem to get dirty in less then two months. Also my air purifier runs twice as loud as it does with the higher quality Dupont filter.

The dimensions of this after market filter compared to the OEM Dupont Trusens Z3000 are similar. The only difference I see is that the internal white filter material apears to be more durable and have more internal pleats. I say this because I occasionally take an air duster and blow the dust from the inside out while outdoors. This extends the life of the filter. Having two large dogs who bring in a lot of dust, I need a robust air purifier filter.I have discovered some tricks to help align the bottom of the air filter case to the main body. I turn the air filter housing upside down, vertically and slide the filter in. I rotate the bottom until it seats. It does take a little rotaing the bottom and a little jiggling to get the bottom to seat properly. It is not the filter size that is the problem, but how the air purifier is designed. I have used several off brand filters and even the OEM brand has the same issue. Some brands come with extra black activated charcoal filters and outside, washable prefilters. This brand does not, yet this is still a fair price since the white filter material has more pleats and is more durable, which will make this filter last a little longer.

These are great making a quick maintenance for my air purifier. I am a busy parent with an active autistic son who has lots of medical issues. This helps our household breathe easier making our home a better cleaner environment to live in.

Does not seat properly and it took us 20 minutes to get the unit to turn on. Would not buy again. Nothing should be this difficult.
