趣味でちまちまお絵描きする用に買いました。水彩が主ですが、表裏描いてもベコベコしないので大好きです。装丁の色もデニムみたいで可愛いです。ページによっては180度開くとこのように分離したようになります。まさか取れたりはしないと思うけれど、見開き描きたいときはページを選ぶ必要があるかもしれません。

I got the hot press watercolour journal because the pages are much smoother and I plan on using the journal for mixed media instead of just watercolour. If you plan on only using watercolour, the cold press is a much better option because it gives the painting a nice texture. I personally really like the texture of cold press watercolour, but I do not like using pens, pencils and markers on cold press. This square journal is very small, but the pages are thick. It's perfect for experimenting with different colours and designs or for small paintings. Great quality paper; highly recommended!

This cute little pocket journal has really nice thick paper, that takes a lot of water with little warping. It's thick enough to paint on both sides, and works for watercolor, acrylic and other mediums.I did notice while turning and flattening the pages that some sections tend to look a bit rough where the binding is glued to the spine. The glue seems to crack in order to get the spread to lie flat for coloring on. I'm not sure how much this will damage the binding over time as you color through it.

Just what I was looking for, perfect size for small paintings and the paper doesn't warp and takes lots of water and layer upon layer of paint.i highly recommend 👌

I've been using watercolor books frommany mfrs, always looking for the " perfect "one for me .. This one is really fabulous ( I wish I could get other sizes with hot pressed watercolor paper) .. I've used it for my line and wash sketches , as well as my gouache pieces.. This paper takes all of it really well . I'll definitely be buying more of them!!! thx for a good product at a decent price !! Norakag
