So awesome for our 6 lb dog, but be aware that the handle may only fit 3 fingers.

I had a version of this brand and model type several years ago. It worked flawlessly and I really enjoyed the flexibility of using this type of leash with my small dog.Sadly, when my dog passed, we donated the leash… then got a new, small dog. Tried several other leashes and finally found this one on Amazon. The one I had before. The same name, the same model, except this one constantly rocks and rattles inside the leash housing. It makes a constant clanking noise with every step. Its unfortunately a piece of junk compared.Please go back to whatever company in China you had make this before, and demand they resume making it with better quality materials and workmanship.

I purchased this leash almost 11 yrs ago and it is still working. I love this leash! It is the only brand that I’ve seen that has this type of fastener. It is so easy to just slide the button back and forth to hook/unhook. It isn’t the metal that twists around in your hand. I HATE that kind. My sister’s dog was visiting and I purchased him one from Amazon. After using this leash she left the other one when she went home. I’m donating it! LOLI’m ordering two more because my current leash doesn’t look as good after 11 yrs, and I want a backup in case they stop making them or I get another little dog. I have a Multipoo and my sister a Boston Bulldog. If you have a smaller dog and try this leash, you won’t want the other type!

This is my favorite leash for our Pekehund. My husband purchased this same one locally and after losing it could not find in stores. Found it here on Amazon. We like the plastic clip closure better than metal ones. Retracts well. Nice small size, easy to carry in a jacket pocket. It does knot sometimes if I retract too fast but overall very happy with the leash.

We had one of these before, and had to get a replacement (she chewed thru the leash .. my fault). Our Pom-Chi-Poo is 8+ lbs and doesn't need a big leash. I really like the retractable kind, as it keeps the leash slightly taught and it won't get tangled in her legs or drag on the ground. Also the clip for the collar is very innovative, you press in a small plastic button on the side of the clip and it slides down a small round metal clip. The clip might be a bit small for big rings, but it's not an issue for us. The hand grip might be a bit small for some hands, I just hold it with 3 fingers & have my pinkey out of the grip.Other reviews said the retraction had failed, but I am wondering if they didn't unlock it? Our 1st one lasted for 10 months with out a problem, until Lu-Lu chewed the leash.
