The connector, where it connects to the back of the gauge, can be problematic. I opened the box, plugged the connector into the gauge, let the wire down on the table w/ the gauge, and both wires came out of the crimped connector pins. I had to remove Both pins from the connector, and reattach them myself. The wires are such a tiny diameter, as well as the crimps, the crimps won't hold the wires enough to keep them in place to install the gauge. I ended up soldering the wires to the connector pins and reinstalling them in the connector. What bothers me is that, most people do not have the electrical repair experience i have, it's in my career field, and I don't think they would know how to react and fix it the way I did. The manufacture needs to change up their quality control, because it's not possible that someone tugged/checked the connection of the connector to the wires. I didnt apply any force to them for them to come out, aside from moving my hand from under the wires to let it drop 1-2" to the workbench.Outside of the issues with the connector, the gauge works. I just installed it and like it much better than the other style of gauge suggested by Amazon, I bought that one first, but it has other issues. I wish the gauge was red, instead of blue, to match my other gauges, but " that'll do, donkey".It's easy to read day/night, but I wish it wasn't as bright as it is. At night, it's hard to not have your vision messed with by its brightness, which doesn't seem to be adjustable. It responds quickly/display updates quickly, I'm gonna keep it in the car. I'm gonna try some tint film, on the display, to see if it helps at night but is still visible.

Very accurate shows the same as my handheld multimeter and doesn’t lag. I had it installed in my boat in less than 5 minutes very easy.I replaced my original boat analog volt meter with this. And I’m going to add another for the trolling batteries. It’s holding up to the elements extremely well for such a great price. Looks great on the dash and is the perfect size.
